| So yeah, let me just get this on out. I am now living alone. There, I said it.
A few days ago Jay and I had a talk and we decided that it would be better for us to live apart for a while before we take the next step and get hitched. We're still dating, and we still spend most of our time together, but we live in separate domiciles. Overall, this will be really good for us and give us each time to grow up a bit more and actually be ready when we decide we are ready to get married and all that goes along with it.
Right now, it sucks.
I've never actually lived ALONE before, so it's pretty scary not having the one person you always want to be around and share every minute of your life with. I've been pretty depressed and have cried every day, but I'm learning. I'm beginning to heal and really look forward to the future. And it's not like we ended our relationship, we've just ended one stage and are now beginning another.
So I've decided that I am going to take this time and really work on myself, get in shape like I've been trying to, reconnect with friends I haven't seen in a while, and focus on doing well in Grad School.
Needless to say, I'd love to hear from any of you. I miss hanging out and enjoying my friends.
I hope everything goes well in everyone else's world.
Much love, and hope

| So, I would say the first night of Grad School went well. Woot. My Monday night class is American Realism :) and on Wednesday nights I have Intro to Critical Lit Theory, which I took at SHC. I'm loving it so far, and I am thrilled about the faculty I'm working with. They all seem extremely qualified in each of their areas, and I can't wait to start writing and see what I can learn from them.
Other than that, life goes well. Project Runway rocks my world. :) Jay signed his two week notice at Best Buy, so yay for him not working two jobs = 60-70 hours a week.

| So, yesterday was my birthday. Woot. I am now officially 23. Big deal. Nothing special happens at 23. Overall, I had a good day. I got my nails done, and got a haircut, and relaxed, and went shopping, and drank a few beers in a bar for the first time in like a year. Good day if I say so myself.
Today my plans revolve around picking up around my house and laying out by the pool. I am doing nothing of importance if I can avoid it. I need to run by South and ask a few questions about how much money I need to borrow because..... I am FINALLY GOING TO GRAD SHCOOL. :) Yes, it deserves all caps. After 3 months of waiting for my paperwork to get processed, I finally got my acceptance letter and financial aid info. As most of you can guess, I will be studying English and working toward my Master's. Woot.
So, as you can tell, I'm pretty excited about going back to school. Now that I have taken my year off, I've gained the perspective of having nothing but work and home to occupy myself, and I'm going nuts. I need to have more going on. I need more social interaction, and I need more obligations and things to do, and I need to further my understanding of the world and better myself through my studies. I can't wait. It looks like I should have class on Monday and Wed. nights, which I can manage with work. Alltel isn't too happy with me going back to school, but they can deal. They have known from the start that I wasn't going to stay with it forever, but the money certainly is good. On my team of 5 people working out of the Saraland store, 3 of us are in school. Now, I'm the only one working on a Master's degree, but it is still hard to accomodate everyone's schedules in a business that expects your every waking moment to be directed toward selling phones, data, and accessories. ::groan::
We tried buying a vehicle last week. He has been wanting to get rid of his BMW and get anouth SUV, like he's always driven. I know what most of you wonderful democrats are thinking, but I figure that if I get a hybrid as my next car, the karma will be in balance and we won't be hurting the world, as bad. But yeah, we had decided on an Izusu Ascender, just a basic 5 seater SUV with a 10 year warranty. Every review on it gets great ratings and it is comfortable and affordable for us new. It is something we could purchase right off the lot and be able to pay fo rit without going broke. The plan was to see about a trade in value on his car. Now keep in mind, Jay drives a '98 5 series BMW. It can easily sell for $11K on its own, trade-in, with a failing waterpump (long story), the car is easily worth $9K. They tried to give us $3.6K for it. We walked out. They refused to meet us on a reasonable ground on the car, so we just left. And they have been hounding Jay off and on since. So, now we're attempting to sell it through the guy he bought the car from and we may still go with the Ascender (I would prefer to) or go with a '04 Envoy or something. So, it's all in the works. Hopefully, we'll get a new vehicle in the near future.
Well, that's about it for life updates from me. I am on vaction still today through Sunday, so I'll be relaxing for most of it.
Tonight a few people are coming over to my place and then going to get sushi to celebrate the greatness that is my birthday, if I have forgotten to invite anyone, then I apologize greatly and would love to see everyone I can.

| So, life's going pretty good.
I had such a good freaking time on Monday when we celebrated Nicole's LSAT Freedom Party. We hung out, ate dinner, watched Eddie Izzard, and caught me up on all the Spring Hill drama I wasn't around for this year. Good times. The pictures are up on Facebook. Go check 'em out.
So, I also got a new phone for my personal line. So if you ever want to call or text me, send it to 251-709-2899. That is my new number. Some of you have it already. I'll get around to sending out a massive text to everyone with that number one of these days.
Gotta get ready for work. Holla.
Much love!
